Japanese kitchen knife brand Kanetsune Gyutou model. KC-950 series knives are created with DSR-1K6 high carbon stainless steel blades manufactured by Daido Steel Co., ltd. This excellent performance blade containing 0.6% carbon and well balanced composition for optimal performance adds molybdenum in its alloy. The "Tsuchime" (hammered) blade finish can cause food to quickly detach from the blade. Made in Seki, Japan.
