The product is an elaboration of the Japanese Wakizashi sword, a typical blade long from 30 to 60 centimeters, which the Samurai always wore in contact with the body, where the Katana was worn exclusively in battle. The blade made of Boehler N690 steel is hardened to 58HRC while the handle is made of forprene, an elastomer that falls under the "NATO standard" for resistance to extreme conditions. The Waki Black is supplied with a cordura sheath, of military origin, which guarantees the safe transport of the very sharp blade and its protection from impacts that could reduce its efficiency. The sheath is also equipped with the MOLLE system which allows it to be carried on tactical vests and generic belts.
