The Spyderco Spin Etched may be the smallest knife in Spyderco's Little Big Knife line, but it stands out for its combination of compact size and robustness. Eric Glesser, from Spyderco's engineering department, created the Spin to be the smallest possible pocket knife with the best possible cutting performance, and it also had to be stylish. Its 46mm (1-13/16") blade is made of high-carbon VG-10 stainless steel with a Wharncliffe profile. This shape provides a long, practical cutting surface with a smooth edge and a slightly rounded tip, ideal for precision cutting or even cleaning under your nails. The blade folds into a flat, acid-etched stainless steel handle that enhances its appearance and adds textured strength for exceptional grip. An integral lock is located at the back of the handle. This modification of the LinerLock design was created by knifemaker Chris Reeve, who used the handle scale as the lock liner. By having the back of the handle function as both the handle and lock, the need for internal liners is eliminated, and the knife can be made incredibly thin and strong. The Spin includes a three-screw stainless steel clothing clip that allows you to carry the knife point-down in your pocket, or attach it to a tie or wallet. Important: This is a pre-owned piece, exactly the same as the one pictured. Very good. Condition: unused, with original edge and box.
