Reproduction of the pistol, made of metal and plastic handle, with charge and firing simulator mechanism and removable magazine.

The pistol Parabellum or model 1908 (P08), popularly known as Luger, is a semiautomatic pistol operated by recoil, which survived the restrictions of the Treaty of Versailles. It uses an internal slide, operated by an articulated arm, as opposed to the external slide common in almost all other semiautomatic pistols.

It was designed by Georg Luger in 1898 and produced by the German arms factory Deutsche WaffenundMunitionsfabriken (DWM) from the year 1900.During its years of useful life the Luger P08 passed through the hands of several manufacturers, who were in charge of producing more than a million units of this mythical gun that marked a before and after in the history of small arms.

Although the first models were manufactured in caliber 7.65x21 Parabellum, its 1908 model, is famous for being the pistol for which the 9x19 Parabellum cartridge was developed. The denomination Parabellum comes from an old Latin saying "Su vis pacem, para bellum" ("If you want peace, get ready for war").

The Parabellum Luger pistol became very popular thanks to its use by Germany during the First and Second World War and was a very coveted pistol by soldiers throughout the twentieth century.
