Hultafors Hatchet 840086

Swedish ax Hultafors Hatchet model. The back has a hammer. Includes protective leather sheath.

The ax is hand forged and made of Swedish steel using traditional methods in use since 1697. The steel is hammered several times, increasing its density and therefore the durability of the axe. It has a transparent temper zone within which the ax can be sharpened without reducing the strength of the edge. The shaft is made of American walnut and treated with linseed oil.
