The MACV SOG RECONDO is the C.I.A. version of the original SOG Knife – the blade is longer and has more cutting belly than the Special Forces SOG Bowie. Original agency versions of the knife are extremely rare. The Bark River Recondo is a co-brand with Matt Martin of Vehement Knives and carries both company logos. This rare Vietnam vintage knife was used in the Home Guard training program by agents all over the area of the conflict. It was also used in counter-insurgency missions in the surrounding countries. The sheath was designed by Jenna Martin of Skin Bender Leather Works specifically for the knife and is universal right/left carry and MOLLE compatible.
