The steel of the Boker MG-42 dagger is forged by veteran and experienced partner Chad Nicols in the heart of the dagger, the double-edged blade with a discreet hollow groove on both sides. The chosen Damast pattern, Low Layer Raindrop (40 ply) is excellently accentuated by the symmetrical blade profile. The hilt and pommel of the dagger are made of solid stainless steel. On the pommel, the cooling fins and gas outlets of the recoil booster (actually a combined component with the functions of a recoil booster, a flash hider and a barrel guide sleeve) were incorporated as a design element. However, form followed function here as well, as the grooves increase the grip of the dagger in the inverted hilt. The hilt and pommel seamlessly hold the barrel-shaped hornbeam wood scroll, which due to its shape is automatically centered in the hand. The dagger is equipped with a high-quality sheath of dark brown leather with belt loop and reinforcement in place. It is delivered with an elegant case for a seemingly floating presentation, certificate of authenticity and individual serial number.
