Extrema Ratio Fat Boy Satin 0107/sat-blk

Fat Boy is the most robust fixed blade knife ever made by Extrema Ratio. It is the first model made of N690 steel (58HRC) with a thickness of 8.6 mm, for a total weight of 1 kg. Extrema Ratio has opted to create Fat Boy with the usual determination that distinguishes us, combining extreme thicknesses and design to obtain an unrivalled product, an innovative and bold solution. Its development was inspired by the first butcher knives, used as combat and defence weapons since ancient times.

Fat Boy is characterised by exceptional strength. It can be defined as a unique striking tool of its kind. Thanks to its generous size, Fat Boy is ideal for all heavy jobs, from splitting to unhooking in extreme scenarios, allowing you to perform different activities typical of a breacher, including using a crowbar to open doors, car doors and windows. These spectacular features become pure fun if we take Fat Boy outside, where preparing, cutting and batoning become mere formalities. The blade, characterized by a full flat grind, has a particular tip structure that protects the main cutting edge and combines penetration capability with the possibility of using it as a lever. Its shape and width also allow it to dig small holes in the ground in emergency situations. The back of the blade, thick and flat at the end, gives this tool greater mass and a hinged surface, useful for hammering and planting stakes. The handle is composed of two black G10 scales, with a new original Extrema Ratio design. They can be removed and replaced, allowing inspections and controls to be carried out under the handle and paracord to be wound around it. The Extrema Ratio Fat Boy is equipped with a black Cordura sheath with an anti-cut rubber blade lock. The MOLLE system on both sides can be used by both right- and left-handed users, depending on the side where the two vertical thigh straps are placed for height adjustment. This system allows for the attachment of accessories, sheaths or an additional spare knife, offering the possibility of easily moving all accessories from one place to another. All components of the sheath can be replaced individually.
