This Japanese Kanetsune KC-141 Kengata knife has a laminated blade with a VG-10 stainless steel core and SUS410 stainless steel outer layers with a plywood handle and reinforced with a stainless steel guard. Hon-Warikomi clad blades made with VG-10 stainless steel cutting core, san mai SUS410 stainless steel providing excellent edge retention, HRC 60 or higher. Proudly made in the city of Seki, Japan.
