Pohl Force's Quebec series are classic mission knives that have been at the top of company founder and designer Dietmar Pohl's wish list for many decades. In 2014, Pohl Force received exclusive permission from the original manufacturer to use the basic design for their rendition (Randall Made Knives). Developed as a ground forces combat and utility weapon, the utility knife was designed for the US Marine Corps in the early 1950s. Although never officially introduced, it clearly demonstrated its capabilities in the Vietnam War, primarily in the hands of US Special Forces. Nearly 70 years after its first design, Pohl Force's modern interpretation of this classic represents the perfect fusion of classic old-school design with modern manufacturing. of high technology. Designer Dietmar Pohl revised the design of the Quebec One and expanded the functional range of the knife. The new Quebec Two's blade is now made from D2 steel instead of Sleipner, which brings higher levels of carbon and chromium content and therefore significantly improves cut and corrosion resistance. In addition, Dietmar Pohl has once again optimized the blade of the classic. The new version now has a 10mm longer cutting edge and a secondary edge on the spine. Additionally, the Pohl Force Prepper system was integrated into the handle of the Quebec Two to safely store survival items within the handle. A tool is included to open the handle screws. The new Pohl Force sheath system makes a significant increase in wear possible. The highly elaborate 2.5 mm thick Kydex® sheath with belt adapter and leg strap allows for high carrying comfort.
