Compact, reliable, and always with you. American custom knife maker Lucas Burnley embodies the concept of Japanese Kihon in the design of the Boker Plus Kihon Compact. The term originally encompasses the fundamentals and basic techniques of Japanese martial arts, which Burnley translates into a practical version of the everyday knife. Its features and simple design demonstrate its great practicality and provide an ideal foundation for everyday cutting tasks. The spear-point blade, made of stonewashed D2 steel, opens smoothly via the thumb stud thanks to ball bearings, while the crossbar lock ensures intuitive, safe, and convenient release. This EDC knife is extremely comfortable and balanced in the hand thanks to its lightweight yet robust GFN handle with the characteristic inset squares. Orange anodized rings on the blade pivot screw and the large handle screw, as well as the matching orange thumb stud, give the Kihon Compact a distinctive touch. It includes a lanyard hole and a convertible wire clip for added carrying flexibility.
