Cold Steel Spartan knife with completely plain edge. Designed by celebrated custom knife maker Andrew Demko, the Spartan is one of the most popular folding knives. The super sharp blade is made from Japanese AUS10A steel and was designed to reflect the aesthetics and cutting performance of the world famous Kukri. Its distinctive Kopis-inspired handle is precision injection molded in Griv-Ex with heat-treated steel liners, and this, plus its famous Tri-Ad lock, makes it an incredibly safe knife. The Spartan also features Demko's patented thumb lug, which can be used to open the knife as a conventional "one-handed opener" or catch on the edge of a pocket during the draw motion and open at gun speed ray.
