The late Kit Carson designed this and many of his other innovative knives in his Vine Grove, Kentucky workshop. Kit's lasting legacy stems from his influence on the knife industry - he is known for popularizing the flipper or Flipper that is now so well known. In addition, he is also remembered for his esteemed rank as Master Sergeant and his high-profile membership in the Knifemaking Hall of Fame. The M16-03XK keeps everything we love about Kit's original tactical-inspired, everyday carry folding knife and adds a spear point blade with a durable black EDP finish. With its heavy-duty crossbar lock, it stays firmly in place in the middle of whatever job you put in front of it, while the five-hole drilled Grivory handle stays clean and light.
