The ASTOR is the first knife collaboration with prolific craftsman and designer Les George. The ASTOR was built like a sturdy "work horse" of a knife! With its sturdy G-10 scales, thick liner, and high-quality CTS-XHP steel blade, the ASTOR is the perfect knife for jobs that require a little more toughness. The deep carry pocket clip can be configured for left hand carrying by switching to the left side and using the two thumb tacks. It incorporates a new "Oil Infused Bronze Bushing System" or "OIBBS". Its sintered bronze washers are impregnated with oil that reduces friction on the blade, thus giving it a firm but smooth opening. This system is especially useful for slow speeds, intermittent use, and uneven loads like those found on folding knives.
