José's son, named after his father, will grow up playing in the cellar near the forge, he will study and train, he will even work for a few years in something very different from crafts, but the desire for the forge will soon take its toll on him and He will return to work next to his father, enjoying this noble art, learning from his teacher, making his knives while he feels the pleasure of forging iron, working with wood, remaining faithful to the legacy of his ancestors.
J. Rodil Jr. will innovate in his designs, always keeping in mind what his father, his teacher, told him one day, "Son, stay faithful to the techniques inherited from yesteryear because each knife is a unique piece, we put our soul and effort into it , do all the processes manually, do not be influenced by the new modern techniques of bringing the product from the factory and assembling only the pieces, easy work, fashions that discredit our work, our commitment to show the authentic craftsmanship, I have spent all my life living from it and at my advanced age, I can say that if I were born again I would be a knife artisan, therefore protect our legacy and proudly show it to everyone who wants to be a part of it ".
Currently, J. Rodil Jr. continues with this trade, keeping in mind the words of his father.
