Julian Galván Hellín was a navajero craftsman who was born in Santa Cruz de Mudela (Ciudad Real) in 1922. He learned the trade from his father Julian Galván Arroyo and went to work in the Agustín Gavilán factory with his friend Luis Huertas, although eventually he established himself with his own forge on Solares de Santa Cruz de Mudela street. He manufactured all kinds of knives that he sold in Madrid through his representatives.
