From a very young age, P. Marfisi has been passionate about knives. After training as a mechanical and metallurgical engineer (Arts y Oficios) and beginning a career in the industry, in 2022 he decided to follow his passion and become a knifemaker and artisan designer. He began making his first knives on his own, but soon wanted to expand his knowledge by completing his first blacksmith training in Spain in 2022 (traditional cutlery at the Ramón Recuero Todelo Blacksmith School in Toledo). This experience encouraged him to learn more, especially the secrets of knife making. Thus, in late 2022 and early 2023, he attended an excellent course taught by François Bignon on the techniques and technologies of French folding knives. He now creates his own knife and pocketknife models based on his own desires and, above all, on his experience as a knife user. Technically, his approach is rigorous, applying his engineering knowledge and experience to precision heat treatments to ensure the strength and cutting quality of each knife. For him, it's a true passion that he's happy to share with other cutlery enthusiasts.
