Paco Margarit is a Spanish craftsman based in Mallorca (Spain)
with a passion for the manufacture of knives and folding knives entirely made
by hand, through the complete forging of their blades to the assembly of the
handles and their covers.
Paco Margarit makes his knives from steel bars, forging his own
Damascus steel and finishing with the most exclusive materials and exotic woods
or roots, such as mammoth, sambar, camel bone, Majorcan or buffalo boc horn,
etc.
The inspiration of their designs is mostly based on two
historical figures within the world cutlery, such as Scagel and Keeslar, coming
to carry out these styles with great mastery and their knives are based on the
traditional type of Majorcan knife, made with great art and luxury. materials
obtaining pieces of the highest level and worthy of any museum.
Currently, he is preparing the test to obtain the title of
Journeyman Smith from the prestigious association of knife makers in the United
States of America, the ABS (American Bladesmith Society).
