Natural stone for sharpening knives and razors:
Extracted in galleries in the Pyrenees, it was originally used for the maintenance of scythes. Nowadays, numerous models have been created and adapted for sharpening knives and razors. It is a veined stone that has the particularity of having dark parts, with more abrasive power and lighter parts, a little softer. It allows a quick sharpening when the need for sharpening is more important.

It has two different grits on each side of the stone, one for roughing and the other for sharpening.

Includes laminated wooden base with four non-slip resting points and groove to perfectly fit the stone.
