Quercur Pocket Leather Sheath Coñac

Medium-sized pocket knife sheath, handcrafted from 1.8mm thick leather. Available in various colours. Sewn with high-strength nylon thread and saddle stitch. All edges are hand-polished by a friction process with waxes and lacquers that compact the fibre and give the unique lustre of artisanal work. Ideal for carrying medium-sized knives such as large Taramundi knives, and classic Spanish knives with a blade between 8 and 10cm (Jerezanas, Albaceteñas, Machete, Sevillanas, Bandoleras, etc.). Valid for approximate measurements of closed knives of 90-110 mm. long x 35 mm. wide. The leather for all our sheaths comes from traditional Spanish tanners who continue to tan cowhide (Spanish and French origin) by traditional methods using acacia and quebracho tannin. In this way, leathers with few marks are obtained, with a top quality grain and qualities given by the artisanal tanning process far superior to industrial processes with chromium salts.
