Important: Always dry your razor thoroughly after use and make sure it is free of moisture (blade and handle) when stored. In fact, the blades of these knives are made of 100% carbon steel C135, a high quality steel for these tools but it rusts if it is not kept dry and careful. In cases of occasional use, the blade should be covered with Vaseline. All Thiers Issard razors are ready to shave. They only need a good strop or softener for the proper maintenance of the edge and chrome oxide pastes that we also sell in our sharpening section. All are packed in a leather sheath and in a white cardboard box printed "THIERS-ISSARD" with instructions for use inside.
