This is the Gerber Downwind Ulu knife, designed for outdoor activities like hunting and camping. It retains the traditional ulu knife shape, with a semicircular blade and a handle positioned above the edge, allowing for deep, precise cuts and reducing hand fatigue during extended use. The blade is made of 7Cr17MoV stainless steel with a stonewashed finish, known for its durability, corrosion resistance, and ease of sharpening. The handle features machined G10/GFN (high-pressure fiberglass laminate) scales that provide a secure grip, even in wet conditions.
