American knifemaker Lucas Burnley embodies the idea of Japanese Kihon with the design of the Boker Plus Kihon DC. The term originally encompasses the fundamentals and basic techniques of Japanese martial arts, which Burnley translates into practice in a solid everyday knife. The features and simple design are proof of a high level of practicality and give the knife with the decisive price-performance advantage an ideal basis for everyday cutting tasks. The D2 satin-finished hinged tip blade opens smoothly via the removable pin thanks to the ball bearing, while the sliding lock of the cross lock ensures intuitive, safe and practical unlocking of the knife. The non-slip handle with textured squares is made of high-strength GFN and fits comfortably in the hand. Orange anodized rings around the blade shaft screw and large handle screw give the Kihon a fine touch. Supplied with a lanyard hole and a tip-convertible wire clip for flexible carrying options.
