The Opinel Horizon No. 08 knife is durable and designed for all multi-sport activities. With a simple design and natural inspirations, the No. 08 Horizon Khaki is the ideal companion for all your outdoor adventures. The Opinel No. 08 Horizon Khaki features an 8 cm plain-edge stainless steel blade that offers high corrosion resistance and excellent cutting quality. Its polyamide handle with 30% fiberglass is water-resistant and withstands extreme temperatures. It has an integrated whistle and a lanyard hole for hanging the knife wherever you like. The handle is injection-molded with fiberglass-reinforced polymer, guaranteeing high resistance to impacts, water, and extreme temperatures (-40°C to +80°C). Integrated ball-less whistle in the handle (works in all weather conditions) with a power of 110 dB and a range of approximately 300 meters in open space.

Invented by Marcel Opinel, the Virobloc safety ring is featured on all folding knives from size No. 6 and up. Made of stainless steel, the Virobloc consists of two parts: a fixed part and a sliding part. In addition to locking the blade in the open position (safety during use), it also allows the blade to be locked in the closed position (safe transport).
