With a blade length of less than 6 cm. from which it takes its name the Boker Plus Five Point Nine falls well below the 12 cm limit. Its robust full-tang construction and proven features including a stonewashed 440C drop-point blade and light brown Micarta scales demonstrate that this small yet powerful tool holds its own against larger counterparts. Thomas Krug, a professional tattoo artist from M.B.F. Messer (Germany), demonstrates great skill not only with the needle but also in applying his aesthetic sense to the design of this fixed-blade knife. The spine of the blade and the back of the handle feature pronounced jimping for exceptional grip and control, while the bolted-on scales stand out thanks to their gill-like side cutouts.
