As one of four blacksmiths, the dwarf Dvalin created the Brisingamen necklace for the Germanic goddess of love Freya. In Nordic mythology, the special necklace is said to represent magic, love, but also grief and suffering. Freya's tears in heaven always promised rich fruits on earth. However, it was the anger of the father of the gods, Odin, that often caused the goddess of love to start wars in the human world. Dirk Hofmeister from Midgards Messer was inspired by Nordic blacksmithing and created the pocket knife version of the popular Little Dvalin. The powerful Dvalin Folder Drop impresses with its compact size and features a ball-bearing drop point blade made of D2, which has a harsh stonewash finish and a pronounced hollow on both sides as a nail nick for opening the folding knife. The serration on the back of the blade promises a safe place to rest your thumb during difficult cutting work. Despite the wrath of the gods, the well-shaped and partially grooved G10 handle always lies securely in the hand. The stainless steel frame lock, which reliably secures the blade, is hidden on the back of the handle. The tip-up clip (r) picks up the texture of the handle, while the lanyard hole increases carrying comfort. Supplied with a high-quality nylon case for storage.
