Playful without being playful, exciting without being emotional, modest, full of self-confidence. These are characteristics that make the Böker Plus Sanjo extraordinary and special. Guy Poggetti, a knife designer from Marseille, France, is fascinated by art, technology and craftsmanship and incorporates this dedication into his designs. As is the case with the Böker Plus Sanjo. The pocket knife, named after the small town of the same name in Niigata Prefecture, is designed in a neo-Japanese style. Equipped with a ball-bearing tanto blade made of VG10, this gentleman's knife tackles everyday cutting work with stoic efficiency. For a neat appearance, the flipper disappears completely between the stainless steel liners when open, which mirror the striking stonewashed finish of the blade and form the inner centre of the folder with the robust liner lock to lock. The elegant look is completed by the finely coordinated handle scales made of brown burlap micarta, from which the rear spacer is also made. It is delivered with a high-quality nylon sheath, a folding clip (r) and a “Sanjonara” greeting from the land of the rising sun.
