ÁgilAgile, fast, and adaptable: with the Böker Plus The Dace, designer and passionate angler Joe Mangiafico, also responsible for the Canoe and The Brook models, has once again created a truly exceptional knife. Inspired by the eponymous chub, the American knifemaker transferred its distinctive silhouette to this agile pocket knife.
The Dace is designed primarily for use in challenging EDC environments with plenty of cardboard, rope, or packing materials, and for occasional handling of fish and meat. The drop-point, ball-bearing blade, made of durable, corrosion-resistant Nitro-V steel, offers a satisfying grip when using the fin, while the liner lock is discreetly integrated into the flattened 6061-T6 gray aluminum handle.
The Dace is ideal for use in challenging EDC environments with plenty of cardboard, rope, or packing materials, and for occasional handling of fish and meat. Bright blue anodized elements, such as the opening clip (right), the flat blade pivot screw, and the handle screws, give this pocket knife a distinctive look. The robust stonewashed finish, along with the non-slip grooved spine and decorative edge, complete the knife's aesthetics and performance.
